IKA TW.IX Stirring attachment
With the TW.IX multi-position stirring attachment for TWISTER, the number of stirring positions can be increased from 1 to 9
The attachment is perfectly suited for mixing in small sample vessels with diameters of 23 - 28 mm and volumes of 8 - 60 ml
Each of the nine stirring positions has its own magnetic drive, which enables powerful mixing in each individual sample
Thus, up to 3000 rpm per stirring position can be achieved in aqueous solutions
Mixing of higher viscous media at lower speeds is also easily possible with the TW.IX attachment
Special elliptical rare earth magnetic stirring bars (IKAFLON 10 / 15 / 20 power ellipse) are available as accessories for perfect magnetic connection at viscosities above 100 mPas
The TW.IX attachment is fixed to the base unit with the integrated adhesive pad and can be mounted and dismounted as often as required
For easier handling and to prevent the sample vessels from falling over, the use of the vessel holders TW.IX.28 and TW.IX.23 is recommended (available as accessories)
