Amorphous Carbon is a special type of graphite electrode
More specifically, graphite surface is CVD-coated (CVD is chemical vapor deposition) to remove all the undesired behavior of graphite electrode like absorbing organic material
Also, due to this surface treatment, the reactivity is changed too
It displays similar reactivity as glassy carbon and RVC. And amorphous carbon is more accessible than glassy carbon
amorphous carbon is more mechanically robust than RVC, which makes it more reusable in discovery reactions and upscaling more feasible
